Our purpose:

To contribute to the flourishing of Tecnológico de Monterrey faculty throughout their trajectory in the institution, through learning experiences and accompaniment that strengthen their teaching and educational innovation competencies, supporting them to be better people and to perform academic work focused on building a better community and a better planet.

 

CEDDIE focuses its work on five areas:

01 | TD

Teaching development

Promotes the development and consolidation of teaching competencies focused on active learning, the achievement of learning outcomes, and the continuous improvement of academic practice. Fosters a culture of collaboration, pedagogical reflection, and faculty professionalization aligned with the institutional educational model.

  • Training offerings for the development of teaching competencies.
  • Disciplinary update courses (CADIs).
  • Support throughout the different stages of the teaching career path.

Educational Innovation and Technology

Strengthens faculty innovation capacity through the development of competencies for the design, implementation, and documentation of innovative educational experiences, integrating emerging methodologies and technologies with pedagogical purpose. Promotes a culture of experimentation, knowledge transfer, and scaling of best practices.

Professional Development

Promotes the consolidation of a strong academic career through structured processes of updating, certification, classification, and professional growth, aligned with institutional goals and the challenges of the educational environment.
