Get ready for the end of the period and grade submission!

Image
PrepCierrePeriodo_398x230_ING

Remember the steps to ensure a smooth process

We are about to close the period, and it is crucial that you prepare adequately. For this reason, we provide you with a checklist to avoid any inconvenience in the process:

1. Verify evidence assessment: Ensure that all evidence is assessed correctly.

2. Review your assessment plan: Make sure your assessment plan has a final column and includes all activities contributing to your students' grades. Remember that activities should be published and configured with a weight of 100 and in points.

3. Identify the grade submission button: If you can't find the grade submission button in the menu, follow these steps:

Menu > Settings > Navigation > Identify the grade submission button > Click on the three dots > Enable > Click on the save button.

4. Verify grade consistency: Check that the grades in the final column of the grading section match the grades in the grade submission section. If not, do not proceed with the submission and review your assessment plan.

5. Consider grade rounding: Remember that in the grade submission section, grades are reflected rounded. For example, if John Doe has a grade of 86.5, it will be shown as 87; if the grade is 86.4, it will show as 86 for the final grade.

6. Submit grades: Once you are sure the final grades match in the grade submission section, click on the blue button labeled "submit."

7. Download the confirmation PDF: Do not forget to download the PDF file, as it will serve as proof of what was submitted to the school department.

Following these steps ensures a period closure without complications and an accurate and efficient grade submission. Your collaboration in this process is fundamental to ensure transparency and accuracy in the assessment of your students.

Curricular and Alternative Credentials

Image
Credenciales_398x230_ING

The value of demonstrating competencies for professional success

Find out what they are and the Tecnológico de Monterrey’s strategy to certify the skills and abilities of its students at the Professional, Graduate and Continuing Education levels.

Last July, the Tecnológico de Monterrey announced its institutional Credentials strategy as a commitment to formalize the actions that offer new options for the accreditation of learning, skills, and competencies that enhance the profile of its students.

Access the official document here:

https://bit.ly/Alternative-Credentials-Tec.

With this initiative, the Tec becomes the first institution in Mexico and Latin America to implement Curricular Credentials in the study plans of its students at a professional level, and it is also positioned as one of the first institutions to establish formal actions for the issuance of Alternative Credentials for your students, graduates or any person who wishes to continue acquiring specific skills.

What are these Credentials?

The Curricular Credentials validate the comprehensive development of the competencies declared in the study plans, as well as the knowledge and skills obtained from other disciplines. These accreditations help to build a unique and differentiated graduation profile that allows the student to enhance their insertion in the labor market.

On the other hand, the Alternative Credentials are formal and extracurricular accreditations of specific knowledge, skills and competences. They are acquired through optional additional courses according to one's own interests. This new type of training allows students and professionals to constantly update and expand their knowledge, demonstrating their experience with physical or digital evidence.

In this way, the Tecnológico de Monterrey seeks that its students experience both types of training in parallel: that of a university degree and the development of specific skills, in order to complement and reinforce what they have learned. As you have seen, these credentials provide new, simpler, more accessible, and faster ways to acquire, deepen, or diversify the knowledge, skills, and competencies evidenced by job profiles.

To find out all the information about this initiative, consult the official document of “Alternative Credentials at Tecnológico de Monterrey”, here:

 https://bit.ly/Alternative-Credentials-Tec.

When in doubt, report.

Let's build a community free of bullying

Bullying is known as the deliberate and continuous physical and/or psychological mistreatment that a person receives from another person in an educational environment, with the objective of subduing, controlling, scaring or intimidating, in order to obtain a favorable result for the aggressor, or simply to satisfy the need to attack and destroy that is usually present.
