Educational innovation experiences

During the 2023 Annual Faculty Meeting (Reunión Nacional de Profesores 2023) at Tecnológico de Monterrey, we will provide an opportunity to share, celebrate, and acknowledge the experiences and educational innovation projects that our professors are conducting to transform the teaching-learning process.

Hence, we cordially invite you to participate in the Learning from Our Educational Innovation Experiences Festival, an exhibition that will be displayed at Tec Virtual Campus a week before and during the event.

The objective of the festival is to encourage professors to share those innovative experiences and projects that:

  • Have an impact on the transformation of the teaching-learning process.
  • Have the potential to trigger new projects and transcend.
  • Explore new technologies, pedagogies, or emerging educational strategies.
  • Multiply by involving other actors in the development of ideas.
  • Thematic Lines

Those experiences or projects that demonstrate evidence of implementation in any academic years (August 2021 to 2023) and correspond to the following thematic axes may participate:

  1. Pedagogical transformation The project or initiative refers to the application of new methodologies to promote a change in the teaching-learning process, such as the deployment of new didactic practices, learning strategies, and delivery methods.
  2. Technologies for education The initiative refers to the incorporation and/or implementation of technologies applied to the transformation and improvement of educational experiences.
  3. Management of the student's experience The project or initiative implements processes for the student's experience and proposes efficiencies in the design, operation, or administration of educational experiences, such as the link with training partners.
  4. Reception and Selection of Experiences and Projects

The reception of experiences and projects will be through the online registration platform Registro i: https://innovation.tec.mx  The selection of the experiences and projects that will participate in the festival will be based on the following criteria:

  • DEMONSTRATED IMPACT: The impact can be demonstrated through testimonials of students, adopters/beneficiaries.
  • TRANSCENDENCE: The project has been published, presented in forums, and/or has become an enterprise.
  • PROSPECTING: The project explores new technologies, pedagogies, or emerging educational strategies.
  • MULTIPLIYING: The project involves professors from two or more schools or has an impact on two or more schools.

Recognition of Participants

All experiences or projects that are accepted to present will receive a certificate and digital badge of official participation in the festival.  Furthermore, the selected experiences and projects will be published in the 2023 Educational Innovation Report, within the area or school to which they belong.  The experiences or projects that receive an outstanding score in the selection criteria will receive a special mention for their outstanding performance in the Learning from Our Educational Innovation Experiences Festival.
