Episode 02

Positive teachers, happy students / Mayte Barba

Martin Seligman defines positive psychology as: “the scientific study of positive experiences, positive individual traits, the institutions that facilitate their development and the programs that help improve the quality of life of the individuals, while preventing or reducing the incidence of psychopathology” (Contreras & Esguerra, 2006, par. 1). In this episode, Mayte Barba invites us to reflect on the conscious choice of positive emotions and their impact on the experience of our classrooms.
