In this edition we look for powerful ideas and solutions to solve one of the challenges when incorporating Artificial Intelligence in education: incorporate AI as a catalyst for increasingly human learning.

TEC·DU HACK is an open challenge to all active faculty at Tecnológico de Monterrey, it will be happen nationally on all campuses at the same time, crazy right?! You will be able to participate in person on both days, December 11 and 12, 2024.

The challenges will be solved in teams, you can signup individually or as a team, if you do it individually, we will assign you to one team (there is something very exciting about not knowing who I will work with).

 

How could we design learning experiences that use AI to foster meaningful collaboration between students and teachers, contributing to more empathetic and human knowledge construction and skill development?

From:

  • Gamification of teaching-learning experiences.
  • Detection of individual student needs, promoting deeper and more meaningful learning.
  • Authentic learning.
  • Generation of activities that keep students engaged and motivated.
  • Others..

 

  • Propose models of collaborative projects that incorporate AI tools in which students and teachers work together to solve problems and create knowledge jointly.
  • Create prototype learning experiences that incorporate AI and keep students engaged and motivated. These activities must be collaborative, interactive, accessible and adaptable to different learning styles.
  • Create AI-based gamification tools that encourage the participation of students and teachers, promoting interactive and motivating learning. Projects should facilitate collaboration between students, promoting healthy competition and a shared sense of achievement.

 

This part is yet to be announced, keep an eye on this page to find out about them soon. However, we can share with you for now that three teams will be the winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) and every team member will be recognized as TEC·DU HACK Ambassadors for one year. Finally, all participants (winners or not), will obtain a micro-credential based on blockchain technology. Of course, the corresponding hours will also be credited but we know that's not why you come =). Signup now!
