Through practical experiences, applicable tools have been shared that impact both everyday life and teaching practice in the classroom.From CEDDIE,workshops have been offered focused on the development of healthy habits, nutrition, rest, and revitalization, recognizing these elements as essential pillars for a fulfilling teaching practice. These actions have been strengthened through collaboration with partners such as the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Punto Blanco, TECMED Center (LIFE), and faculty researchers from diverse disciplines, who have enriched the offerings with their perspectives and expertise for the benefit of faculty well-being.In these spaces, a key idea has been placed at the center: the body also teaches. Voice, rhythm, presence, emotions, and the energy expressed in the classroom are fundamental components of the teaching experience. Likewise, the idea that the microbiota also teaches has been explored as a metaphor, highlighting that what we consume influences our well-being, energy, and presence.From this perspective, attention and cognitive energy have also been recognized as key resources that must be cared for to sustain intellectual vitality in teaching practice. Activities focused on nutrition have been enriched with a cultural dimension, recognizing that food not only nourishes but also builds identity and a sense of belonging. An example, of this is experiences such as the workshop “Pan de muerto: horneando el sabor de nuestras tradiciones”,” which connects participants with their cultural roots.In collaboration with TECMED Center, workshops centered on prevention through self-care have been promoted. Through initiatives such as “a Cuídate hoy, vive mejor mañana ,” “Docentes sanos: check-up médico, movimiento y ergonomía” and “El ABC del bienestar docente” the adoption of healthy habits, early risk detection, and the development of sustainable daily practices have been encouraged. The health-focused approach of these workshops provided a comprehensive perspective based on prevention, health monitoring, and informed decision-making.Overall, the actions within the mindful health axis continue to strengthen a culture of well-being that enables faculty to sustain their energy, care for themselves, and experience teaching with greater awareness, balance, and fulfillment.
